Dear Users,

I have successfully installed PRECIS2.0 on the Linux distribution openSUSE Leap. However, when I run the Default experiment, nothing happens. The display shows only the message "Not started" (As shown in the attached figure). I checked that only content was created in the umui_runs directory.
I tried to run different experiments, but appers the same message "Not started"

Any idea what's going wrong?

I appreciate any help.

All the best.

Can you try setting up a new region and rerunning?

Simon.

Hello Saeed and Simon,

Thank you for your prompt reply.

I tried doing this with at least two different areas, however it did not work. The same message appears: NOT STARTED.

Hi,

You may not have the "at" daemon turned on.

On the command line, can you type

at now

if you see something like:

warning: commands will be executed using /bin/sh
at>

hold down Ctrl and press "D"

If the message is like:

Can't open /var/run/atd.pid to signal atd. No atd running?

You'll need to turn on the at daemon. What short of linux are you using?

Hello Simon,
I have taken all the steps you have recommended and have obtained the responses you posted.
I'm using the OpenSUSE Leap 42.1.

Claudia,
TO install the at daemon, try

sudo zypper in at

You then can configure it to be enabled using Yast2 --> System Services (Runlevel).
