Hello administrator,

I and my colleague Joseph wish to install PRECIS RCM system on a Ubuntu OS since we are also running other applications in Ubuntu. I can imagine there are certain packages that may not be supported by Ubuntu and yet may be needed for PRECIS to install and run. Simon has already given us a response to this topic but it would help future PRECIS users if it is posted in this forum. Please advise.

Hello Geoffrey,

PRECIS should in theory run on Ubuntu, but we are unfamiliar ourselves with this operating system.

Your colleague said that he has had some problems installing PRECIS. Are you able to say what are the specific errors that he is getting?

All the best,
Simon

PS. This post should really be in the technical rather than scientific part of the forum.
