Post subject:  Difference in plots when grid are unrotated

Hi Team,

I used ppregrid -d 0.22,0.22 to regrid from rotated to regular grid and the spatial maps are markedly different. Anyone who can please shed some light? I would appreciate. See attached.

Regards
Onesmus

Hi Onesmus
My first suggestion would be to plot the maps on the same colour scale. Can you do this and post the new maps?
It looks to me like similar features are present, so hopefully its just an issue with the scale.

Hi Laura,

Many thanks for the suggestion, it worked. When plotted using the same scale, the spatial maps are basically the same for both rotated and unrotated grid.

Please see below plots on panoply.
