Dear Simon,

With the help of your valuable suggestion, I have successfully completed HadGEM - Historical run. But while running HadGEM RCP 4.5, I am getting the error "Failed to update the ancillary file". I have also enclosed the snapshot of the error.

I have checked the ANCIL and pp4lbc directories and I have found that the data in pp4lbc are for HadGEM historical, HadGEM RCP 4.5 and HadGEM RCP 8.5. But in ANCIL directory, the data are for HadGEM historical, HadGEM RCP 2.6 and HadGEM RCP 8.5. I also enclosed the snapshots of those for your referenceSo I think that will be the reason for the error. . If so, how can we get the ancillary file for HadGEM 4.5?

I have one more request from my side that will it be possible for us to get the ancillary file and lateral boundary conditions for the remaining RCPs (RCP 6.5, RCP 2.6).

Kindly reply on this regard.

Good work pinning down the problem. Missing ancillaries can be downloaded from http://www.precisrcm.com/ANCIL_PRECIS2/.

We don't have RCP6.0 boundary data, however please email precis@metoffice.gov.uk to request RCP2.6 boundary data.

Dear Simon,

Thank you so much... I have downloaded the files from the link you have provided. But still I am getting the error. Now the error is "ERROR: Current model time (20051201000000) proceeds latest possible ancillary time". I understood that the error is related to time which i have given in the input but I have no idea how to fix it. I have also enclosed the .leave file for your kind reference. Kindly provide the solution for this error.

Please replace the file /home/geetha/precis/um/vn4.5/ctldata/ancil_config/akwsl, with http://www.precisrcm.com/ANCIL_PRECIS2/ancil_config/akwsl
