hi Maciej,

Please attach the log (.leave) file for this simulation.

To do this type:

cd $MY_OUTPUT
ls -rtl

Quote:
............
-rw-r--r-- 1 precis users 22836 Feb 16 14:30 dhgew000.dhgew.d16047.t142717.leave
-rw-r--r-- 1 precis users 25970 Feb 17 11:32 dhges000.dhges.d16048.t112627.leave
-rw-r--r-- 1 precis users 11499 Feb 18 12:06 dhgex000.dhgex.d16049.t120448.leave

and select the most recent one (in my case dhgex000.dhgex.d16049.t120448.leave). To attach it to the forum you will first need to gzip it, i.e. type

gzip dhgex000.dhgex.d16049.t120448.leave
.

Once you have done this we will have a look.

All the best,
Simon

Hi Maciej,

The error message is

Quote:
ERROR: No aerosol PP4LBC files for time e9c10 in /home/maciej/pp4lbc/aenwh
Files exist but none span RCM domain

Firstly, please accept our apologies if we have made an error extracting a sub-domain of the boundary data. The error message is saying that the boundary data does not span the RCM domain. To fix this, we will either need to send out new boundary data, or it may be possible that you can redesign your RCM domain slightly. Please let me kow if you would like new boundary data.

To see the area spanned by the PP4LBC files, it is possible to visualise the boundary data by typing:
Code:
xconv -i /home/maciej/pp4lbc/aenwh/aenwha.UK_large.pie9c10

and select surface pressure (PSTAR) to plot.

Also during looking at your problem, I noticed another bug that means PRECIS 2 is unable to downsclale HadCM3Q0- we are working to fix this ASAP.

Regards,
Simon

Hi Maciej,

Sorry for the delay replying.

We have now fixed the bug. Please download the file PrecisPPPackage.pm.gz, gunzip it (type gunzip PrecisPPPackage.pm.gz,), and place in the directory $UPATH/perl .

Regarding your region, I have had a go at redesigning it. To load my version, download Maciej_edited_st.rgn, and place it in the directory $SAVEDIR, open the PRECIS user interface, and click on
Quote:
Region tools -->import region

Please let me know how you get on.

Simon

Hi Maciej,

That sounds slow. Are you able to attach a .leave file?

Regards,
Simon
