Post subject:  Error loading precis user interface
I have downloaded and successfully installed the PRECIS in CENTOS 6.7 64bit (Red HAT) machine. When I tried open user interface by typing precis I got the following error.

Error in startup script: couldn't execute "convert": no such file or directory
while executing
"exec convert $env(SAVEDIR)/regions/$region/new.ppm -scale 265x265 $env(SAVEDIR)/regions/$region/new_resize.gif"

Will you please help me to overcome this error.

Dear Jajanagmet,

It appears that the convert software is either not installed on your machine, or at least is not in a location in your $PATH directory. Try typing

to confirm that this is the case.


You may be able to download convert from http://www.imagemagick.org/script/index.php.
