Hi Eric,
I helped you separately, but for posterity let me answer here.

While the model is running, there is a file created in $HOME called .jobrunning.[runid].[processid]
e.g.
.jobrunning.dmhae.3313

When there is a power failure, that file can be left in $HOME.

When you type

restart [runid]
for you, you would type
Code:
restart metac

You might get an error saying the job is already running.
It is simply a matter of typing
Code:
cd $HOME
rm .jobrunning*

and then

Code:
restart metac

once again.

David
