Hi Girma,
You are referring to the fact that the Antix Linux virtualbox image (the image we created that contains pre-installed PRECIS pp utilities, cf-python, CDO, NCL, NCO, Panoply, Grads and more), downloadable here
http://www.precisrcm.com/Antix131.ova
has the default key map set to the UK keyboard.

The solution is to boot up the Antix image, then right click on the desktop and choose Control Centre.
antiX-control centre ->Xwindow -> Change keyboard layout

Basically, you need to figure out how to tell Antix Linux that you want to use a US keyboard layout.
I don't have the image booted up right now in front of me, but I am confident that it should be an easy fix.
It may involve some google searches on your part. For example, a google search for "change Antix keyboard layout"
leads me to this page http://forum.mepiscommunity.org/viewtopic.php?f=40&t=31928 which might be useful for you.

Thank you
David
