Hi, We have had an PRECIS experiment running for Rwanda; run length of 95 years; 2005/12/1-2101/1/1.
The experiment was interrupted at 2099/12/1. It shows error: Failed to update ancillary files.
How can we fix it to complete the experiment? thank you

Hi Pearl,
Just picked this up. Sorry but we are a bit down in support team currently! If this is still an issue could you take a look in the relevant '''.leave''' log file ~/precis_exp/precis_output and see if that provides any clues! What gcm where you using for your experiement, it looks like you might have completed the experiment already and this error only an indication of that. If you are not still happy send us the '''.leave''' file and we will take a closer look.
thanks
Saeed

Hi Saeed,
Thank you for your reply. I hadn't checked on the progress of the post for a while;
It might be right about the experiment being already completed; but our driving GCM, it is HadGEM2-ES (it should run upto 2100). I have attached the .leave file for you to look at for us.
Hope to hear from you soon,
thank you :)

Hi,

1/12/2099 is the end of HadGEM2-ES.

Apologies if this is not consistent with the documentation. Please can you let me know where it says 2100 so that we can change it?

Hello Simon,
Thank you for your reply. The That makes sense because our experiment seemed to stop at 2099/12/1. However, it had been set for 2101/1/1 and that is why the error may have occured. The ESGF data portal(

Apologies.
The ESGF data portal(CMIP5 project) states that HADGEM2-ES starts 2005 and ends 2100. Kindly check, I may have it wrong. https://esgf-node.llnl.gov/search/esgf-llnl/
Thank you
