Hi,

I am trying to launch PRECIS interface and I get this error:
rcerezo@UAS1S0P000A160U:~$ precis
Error in startup script: can't read "moses2": no such variable
while executing
"if {$moses2 == "Y" } {
set moses_choice "MOSES2"
} else {
set moses_choice "MOSES1"
}"
(procedure "read_job" line 54)
invoked from within
"read_job 1"
(procedure "Main" line 22)
invoked from within
"Main"
(file "main.tcl" line 633)

I do not know what happened! it was working ok 4 days ago. I have to shutdown the computer (due to hurricane warnings! oh the joys of living in the Caribbean) anyway, and now is not working, the model is working (I think!) I used the terminal to restart (CRUN) the experiment and when I typed: top I can see that all the processors are being used I haven't done any changes on the computer nor installing new software or updating anything, so truly I do no know why the GUI is not working...

any ideas?

Hi,

I think there is an issue with the lastsaved directory. Try

cd $HOME/precis_save/lastsaved

have a look in there and move any files out of that directory.
Then copy the configuration file of one of your current experiments from $HOME/precis_save/experiments into $HOME/precis_save/lastsaved

Then restart PRECIS.

Simon.
